Tim Cook has revealed the new iPad 3 with proud boasts of the iPad being the "poster child of the post-PC world". Bold claims but who is to say that his assertion is incorrect? So what can we expect in this latest release from Apple? First thing of note is that it will be the first in the series to use a 4G (LTE) mobile internet connection. The screen is also getting an overhaul with a new (2048x1536) high-definition “Retina” display similar to the one used on the iPhone 4. Expect much better photo quality as the camera has been upgraded to 5 megapixel. The processor is up to 4 times faster with a new high-speed A5x chip.
